Experience Summary

Kobby joined the Ghana Civil Service after graduation and served in the public works department as Deputy Regional Architect between May 1979 and December 1980. He served on a host of panels and committees in the regional secretariat.

He has since worked with a number of reputable international architectural practices such as Owen Luder Partnership, Richard Seifert and Partners, Building Design Partnership, Rock Townsend and HOK International. He played a senior role in most of the offices and worked on different project types. He has been responsible for design, management and supervision of several projects both in the UK and overseas. His contribution to the Angel Square development in Islington, London N1 has been acknowledged and recorded.

His vast knowledge on tropical architecture has never been questioned. Consequently, Kobby now leads a team of eight professionals in a practice, which operates in the UK and Ghana. It has a policy to be conscious of the effect physical development have on the environment. The practice advocates realistic and practical use of elements and building components in achieving a well-balanced Eco-system.
